This paper analyzes the development status and characteristics of energy and electricity industry in Sichuan，including the development scale and main problems of hydropower industry，the present situation of clean energy industry like wind energy and solar energy，as well as the capacity development situation of natural gas，shale gas，and coalbed gas. At the same time，based on the analyzing and the development direction of China’s energy industry in “13th Five-Year” period，authors put forward the key tasks of Sichuan energy and electricity industry in the future，and forecast that：In 2017，the energy electricity consumption in Sichuan province will maintain a growth rate of around 2%.
