At present，there are many difficulties and challenges in the economic operation of the Northeast Economic Zone of Sichuan，simultaneously overall output growth has slowed down in the past. Economic environment and development conditions will remain uncertain in 2017，but stable growth can be expected. For the purpose of achieving the whole quality improvement and upgrading of regional economy，it is suggested that the economic policy maker of economic zone and contained five cities should regard the following points：Firstly，the policy should be based on prudent at the current and near short-term；secondly，the policy should be focus on both sides of the supply and demand；thirdly，strengthen the power of the markets；fourthly，combination of long-term policy and short-term policy should be considered.
