老工业基地转型过程的“意外后果”就是大量工人的失业，为了摆脱贫困的生活，失业后寻求再就业机会成为他们生活中不可缺少的内容。但是，女工的失业及再就业过程往往由于社会性别视角的缺失在这个过程中被忽视。本文运用个案访谈、问卷调查收集资料，研究了老工业基地转型过程中女工失业及再就业过程，揭示女工再就业过程的社会排斥、社会保障制度的缺失以及由此带来的女工利益的损失和不利的生活境遇，进而反思国有企业提升效率行动中所引发的针对女工的社会排斥。虽然女工的下岗失业是老工业基地转型过程中出现的一种“历史事件”，但是，对于失业者的关注以及补偿政策的反思的确不应该终止。
<<The “unexpected” result of the old industrial region’s social change and state-owned enterprise reform is the laid-off workers. The course of female laid-off workers finding new job was neglected because of researchers’ lacking gender view. The goal of this essay is to analyse the course of the female laid-off workers obtaining new employment in labor market in order to reveal the social exclusion in the course of the female laid-off workers obtaining new job. Though the topic is old，the reflection around the topic will be continued in the background of harmonious social construction.
