As the Zhujiang River Delta is rushing its way towards urbanization in an increasing speed，everything local，including kinship organization like lineages，has all been changed tremendously. Based on an in-depth investigation on the lineage organizations in Fengdong community，Shenzhen，this paper analyses how the specific way of urbanization in the wider Zhujiang River Delta in recent years affects the transformation of local lineage organization and how lineage organizations adapt to urban circumstance. Finally，the authors suggest some tendencies of lineage organizations’ future development.
