Public services are of great significance to social and economic development.Developing public services serves as a key means of promoting balanced economic growth，a major approach to making the people share the fruits of development and an important measure for improving the efficiency of economic growth.At present，the development of public services faces some problems：The contradiction between the growing demand for public services and insufficient supply of public services becomes increasingly prominent；the degree of equalization of basic public services needs improving；the mode for public service supply needs perfecting；the quality of public services needs enhancing.It is therefore suggested that during the construction of public services，efforts should be made to strengthen governmental responsibilities，increase governmental investment，improve the performance assessment system for the public services supplied by government，upgrade supply modes，intensify the diversity of subjects for public service supply and vigorously advance the equalization of public services between urban and rural areas.
