Nowadays B&B industry has become an important link in promoting village tourism，tourism poverty alleviation，and beautiful countryside construction. Especially，B&B industry has positive influences in leading investment flow from city to the countryside，improving industry convergence and innovation，and upgrading country culture and environment，which has far-reaching significance for the contemporary urban and rural interaction，rural governance，and rural elite renaissance and so on. However，due to the characteristics of B&B industry and the constrains in rural housing policies，there are some limitations in the fast development of B&B industry. Moreover，the policy guidance toward B&B industry in different areas is not unified，which might be a barrier to the healthy and sustainable development in the long run. Therefore，the contemporary significance need to be faced，and the industry definition need to be cleared. The government need to improve the entry policy and governance mechanism，and actively explore the measures to ensure the sustainable development of B&B industry.
