With an average annual growth of more than 10%,Chongqing's civil organizations(CCO)have achieved a rapid development in the past 10 years.The organizations' structure and distribution have also been gradually improved.The overall development is gathering momentum.CCO has played an important and active role in the regional economic development,social management,public services,charity relief,new rural construction,political participation,and many other aspects.CCO has gained impetus for the government reform and social development,and its social influence is growing.The system construction and innovation for the organization management have also been carried on.At the same time,because Chongqing is located in the western underdeveloped region of China,the foundation for development is weak,so the overall development of the civil organizations in Chongqing is still lagging behind compared with other parts of the country.There are some problems which should be paid attention to.To speed up the development of civil organizations,Chongqing needs to intensify its reform and effectively improve the development environment. <<
