The reality that contiguous destitute areas are in the regional poverty stage and the statistical information lag makes more common multidimensional poverty measurement indicator system not be suit for the contiguous destitute areas. After reviewing the major multidimensional poverty measurement indicator systems, this paper constructed a contiguous destitute area multidimensional poverty measurement indicator system which including 51 indicators that explain the economic poverty, human poverty, information poverty and ecological poverty, lastly, carried out a detailed description of the assessment methods of the indicators. <<
