Building on the data drawn from a survey on the internet use by Chinese minors, this study describes the present situation with minors' mobile use and online mobile use, analyses the higher penetration rate of mobile use and online mobile use and the wide application of recreation functions to mobiles among minors. It also examines the causes for these phenomena in terms of mobile characteristics, families, schools and teenagers themselves. The study concludes with some suggestions and advice in this regard. <<
