After the Wuhan Volunteers Association is established in 2007，it has coordinated the governmental departments of the publicity and the cultural to carry out cultural volunteer activities. In recent years，it has established the cultural volunteer service network which includes the 4 levels of the city，the districts （counties），the streets （townships） and the communities （Villages）. Combined with the activities of the National Civilized City Building，it launched the literature art performance tours and the activities of literature art performances going into communities；based on the cultural needs of the grassroots，some featured volunteer service brands are created. In the new development period，based on the construction planning and overall goals of building “volunteer city”，Wuhan will continue to strengthen and promote the development of cultural volunteer service.
