Guangdong Province Cultural Volunteer Corps was founded in 2011. It has established the basic structure of cultural volunteer organizations：Corps in the level province，the sub-corps in the level of the municipal cities and agencies directed under the province，the detachments in the level of counties and the districts. It has formed a cultural volunteer service network with five-levels：the province，cities，counties，towns （streets），villages （communities）. The cultural volunteer teams have expanded gradually，the public cultural service system has been increasingly improved. Especially，it provides important cultural human resources for the grassroots nonprofit cultural sites，such as the cultural centers at townships （streets） and the culture rooms at villages （communities）. It has improved the standardization，equalization and the inclusive of basic public cultural services. It also has acquired outstanding achievements in institutionalization，normalization，brand building and theoretical research.
