In 2005，Tianjin museum recruited the first batch of cultural volunteers. In 2012，Tianjin established the Volunteer Corps of Public Cultural Services，it marked the beginning of scale-up，institutionalized and standardized process of Tianjin cultural volunteer services. From 2014，Tianjin has begun trying to strengthen the inter-provincial communication and cooperation of cultural volunteer service，promoting the culture “going out” and “coming in”. The new initiatives have continued to promote the development of cultural volunteer service of Tianjin.
