文化志愿服务是志愿服务的重要组成部分。从服务功能角度来看，目前中国的志愿服务组织主要包括统筹型组织、支持型组织、实施型组织、传播型组织和网络型组织等几种类型。目前我国的文化志愿服务发展了大量地方层面的文化类统筹型组织和实施型组织，但缺乏全国层面的统筹型组织和基于服务功能分类的组织类型。建立在优化组织的服务功能基础上的组织分层分类发展是一种新的发展趋势。
<<Cultural volunteer service is an important part of volunteer service. Chinese volunteer organizations have several types in terms of service function，such as co-ordination organizations，supporting organizations，implementing organizations，communication organizations and network organizations. Cultural volunteer service has developed a large number of co-ordination organizations and implementing organizations in the local level，but it is lack of the co-ordination organizations in the national level and the types of supporting organizations and network organizations. The new development trend is the stratification and classification of the cultural volunteer organizations based on the optimization of organizations service function in China.
