the society-building in Beijing is under the condition of advanced economic and social development. during the “Twelfth Five Year Plan” period，the leadership system and mechanism of society-building in Beijing was further improved and formed a model of the society-building with Chinese characteristics. All aspects of the society-building in Beijing，such as the optimization of the social structure，the improvement of basic public service and the reform and improvement of social governance system，have achieved remarkable results. The next five years，Beijing needs to further optimize the social structure，enhance the basic public services，foster social organizations，building a big team of social workers，improve the level of social governance.
