Since its establishment，the Macao Cultural Industries Fund has been making use of the Government’s resources to support the cultural industries and to subsidise the development of cultural industries projects. With more than one year’s operation，the Fund has cultivated an effective management system in different aspects，such as personnel，system construction，industry network，funds management，projects report and review，etc. It has launched a smooth running of the review and funding of cultural industries projects，of which many outstanding projects were subsidised and supported，enhancing the cultural industries as a result. By summarising the present situation of the Fund in terms of its internal construction and review funding，it helps to sort out the fundamental characteristics of the Fund’s operation and at the same time it conducts a brief analysis of the current problems. Several recommendations are proposed.
