<<New Zealand experienced peace and harmony in every aspect during the past year,although the international challenges still existed. In politics,the government pushed a referendum on whether changing their old national flag or not. The final result is largely predictable and the new flag project was abandoned. In economics,New Zealand looked for an multiple and broader agreements with outside markets including achieving TPP and join in the AIIB as a founding member. Auckland also initiated series of programs to promote the small business and technological industries. In social service,the Nationalist Party sustained their traditional methods to further improve a well-organized social welfare system which promised an more stable social security in future. In foreign affairs the China-New Zealand relationship was put among the most significant issues and in September a new round of forum was launched in Beijing where 120 delegates engaged in from both countries.
