Inner Mongolia Xiangshawan tourism limited company was founded in 1999，after sixteen years of development，Xiangshawan desert leisure tourism area has been among the national advanced ranks and formed a “One area，one port，four islands” leisure resort area. In the process of development，Xiangshawan desert tourism area always as an important leisure sports activities part in Xiangshawan leisure products，obtains good economic benefits and social benefits at the same time，also worked out a suitable development concept. At present，the development of the tourist area has made great progress，but in response to the competition of tourism market，there are still many problems need to be solved as the tourism consumer market demand etc. This paper finally analyzes the shortage of tourism area，the outlook of the future.
