China’s desert and grassland are very rich in resources. In recent years，each province relying on its unique natural resources and cultural landscape，the combination of sports and leisure tourism，and gradually developed a variety of desert leisure and grassland leisure sports tourism products，formed unique leisure sports. This chapter introduces the basis of China’s provinces and autonomous regions in the desert and grassland resources in the actual situation，carry out the desert leisure sports activities in recent years desert resource rich area are reviewed，analyzed the current existing in the development of China’s leisure sports in the desert in the process of problems，countermeasures are put forward. Considering the situation of the development of sports leisure grassland in China and the length of this paper，then taking Inner Mongolia as an example，described the development situation，problems and the development countermeasures of grassland leisure sports briefly.
