In the paper，it gives a brief introduction of the development history of science popularization informationization in Changning district，Shanghai city. It summarizes the following aspects：1. emphasize the construction of science popularization network，and the building of information highway；2. accelerate the information flow，broaden science popularization channels；3. share the inter-regional science popularization resources，enhance the ability on content supply；4. give more support to the local communities，bolster the science popularization ability serving and benefiting the public.
