The offline and online platform “e station building for the rural areas，science popularization in China” serves as one of the most important tools for rural science popularization informationization in China. “e station building for the rural areas，science popularization in China”，a 020 general service platform for the promotion of science popularization in the rural areas，is built in the rural areas. Since the inception of 2005，Shanxi Association for science and technology have made great headway in science popularization informationization work after more than 10 years’ enduring efforts and practice. Shanxi science and technology media group undertook the project “science popularization in China—technology helps you become successful” in 2015. Great efforts have been made in building “e station building for the rural areas，science popularization in China” on the basis of considering the features of agriculture，rural areas and the farmers and by building offline and online service platform. 1500 stations have been built in 22 provinces and municipalities under the Central Government in China so far. In the paper，we try to demonstrate the necessity of building such stations in the rural areas，the function and demo role under the current context of science popularization informationization. In a nutshell，the main difficulties，the development goals and the already-existing experience will be analyzed，in this way，some guidance will be provided for helping the farmers to enhance their scientific literacy，and become more wealthy.
