based on national policy and regional resources，this paper probes into the development environment of sports print media industry in Beijing region，so as to further analyze the situation and future trend of print media industry in Beijing region. Beijing Times has been taken as an analysis sample to discuss sports page’s status in comprehensive newspapers，as well as the content products of Beijing Times’ sports page and its choices for integrative development under the backdrop of new media.
