The research group conducted the special investigation on the conservation and exploitation of Guangzhou traditional village taking Luochang village of Huashan Town in Huadu District as the example. According to summarizing valuable development model，the main problems are teased out. Besides，the countermeasures to protect Guangzhou traditional village with the development are proposed. First，government guidance and market operation would be preferred；Second，plan guidance should be insisted on；Third，inheritance traditional culture would be the core；Fourth，innovative development must be the driving force.
