In 2015，the influence of Chinese economic slowdown on African economy and China-Africa economic and trade relations was a hot topic in the foreign media coverage. These relevant coverage in Western and African mainstream mediawas mixed up with both positive and negative views，but negative feelings seem to prevail and are mainly shown in three aspects：Chinese economic slowdown leads to China’s less business and trade activities in Africa；China’s decreasing demand for African resources exerts an influence on African resource-exporting countries；RMB devaluation affects Africa’s exports. Based on these，this article makes an objective analysis and evaluation on how these opinions come from and how to respond to. On account of their own interests，foreign media ignores the downturn of world economy，the decline of energy prices and African countries’ own development issues and blindly blame that the current Chinese economy impacts African economy negatively. The reasons for how the negative view comes from are as follows：Firstly，foreign media is short of an objective and rational knowledge of both Chinese and African economy. Secondly，Western media’s influence on Africa is beyond that of China.
