In 2014，Guangzhou economic development had entered to the new normal. Therefore，improving the quality of economic development becomes an inevitable requirement for Guangzhou to adapt and lead the new normal，and is the main line of economic development during Guangzhou “The 13th Five-Year Plan” period. In this paper，the conversion of economic growth structural momentum，transformation of economic structure，changes of economic efficiency and environmental pollution control are the main factors to investigate the quality of Guangzhou economic development in 2015，the prospect and variation trend of Guangzhou economic development quality are discussed as well.
