This paper first discusses the means by which entrepreneurship drives the increase of residents’ incomes. It also analyzes the current situation of Guangzhou’s entrepreneurship development and proposes the main problems that exist in it. In the end，it targets at local governments’ affairs and proposes relevant measures and suggestions for getting rid of the obstacles to increasing residents’ incomes and improving the public’s entrepreneurship quality.
