The new European Commission under the leadership of Jean-Claude Juncker took office at the end of 2014. Compared to the Barroso Commission，the new commission made a large-scale adjustment to its organisational structure to build a vertical framework based on project teams. Juncker’s Political Guidelines established ten policy priorities and the Work Programme 2015 further set the details and highlighted the key points. After taking office，the new European Commission has made a lot of achievements，which reflected some remarkable characteristics. However，there are still serious challenges that the Commission will face in the future.
