This article first introduces the general situation of Sri Lanka, and then introduces the state environmental situation, including: water environment, atmospheric environment, solid waste, soil pollution, nuclear pollution, ecological environment. Environmental conditions in Sri Lanka ranked 69 among the 178 countries under investigation. At present, the environmental challenges facing Sri Lanka mainly include land use planning unreasonable, deforestation, land degradation, the lack of safe drinking water, loss of biodiversity, greenhouse gas emissions and climate change, natural disasters, natural resource management is not sustainable, coral reefs, and mineral mining, solid waste, environmental pollution, etc.. Subsequently, this article gives a brief introduction to the Sri Lanka‘s environmental management and international cooperation in environmental protection, environmental management includes environmental management system, environmental policies and measures, international cooperation in environmental protection includes two aspects of bilateral environmental cooperation and multilateral cooperation in environmental protection.
