But in the meantime, Africa's poverty rate has been high, poverty group was increasing. Measured in accordance with the new international poverty line of less than $1.25 per capita income, In sub Saharan Africa, the number of poor people has increased from 350 million in 1996 to 380 million in 2005. It can be said that this growth in Africa is not a friendly economic growth for the poor, but the poor economic growth.
