With the rapid development of China social economy and urbanization，the urban environment quality is deteriorating and environmental problems have also attracted more and more social attention. City environmental quality evaluation is the premise and necessary means to understand current city environment situation and grasp the evolvement law of city environment. It is also the foundation and basis of government evolvement protection policy. This report combs current researches and practice on city environment quality evaluation in China in order to find the problems and the insufficiency，puts forward the corresponding suggestions and expectations. This provides reference for the practice of city environment construction and improvement under the demands of “beautiful China policy”.
