2014年，重庆城乡文化消费总量增长处于第20位，人均值增长处于第20位。重庆城乡文化消费需求景气评价排行结果：在省域横向测评中，2014年景气指数处于第13位；在自身纵向测评中，1997～2014年景气指数处于第27位，1999～2014年景气指数处于第10位，2004～2014年景气指数处于第17位，2009～2014年景气指数处于第13位，2013～2014年景气指数处于第19位。
<<In 2014，Chongqing ranked the 20th in the increase of the total cultural consumption in urban and rural areas and the 20th in the growth of per capita value. The Rankings of the status evaluation are as follows：in the lateral evaluation among various provinces，Chongqing ranked the 13th in 2014；in vertical evaluation itself，Chongqing ranked the 27th，10th，17th，13th and 19th during the periods of 1997-2014，1999-2014，2004-2014，2009-2014 and 2013-2014 respectively.
