In 2014，Heilongjiang ranked the 6th in the increase of the total cultural consumption in urban and rural areas and the 6th in the growth of per capita value. The Rankings of the status evaluation are as follows：in the lateral evaluation among various provinces，Heilongjiang ranked the 7th in 2014；in vertical evaluation itself，Heilongjiang ranked the 5th，4th，3rd，26th and 20th during the periods of 1994-2014，1999-2014，2004-2014，2009-2014 and 2013-2014 respectively.
