The Aging of Sichuan population is quite early，fast and deep. In 2020，the population over the age of 60 will reach 186.672 million，occupying22.66 percent of the total population. Although Sichuan has issued a series of policies to promote urban senior services in recent years，it has to face many problems，one of which is that the aging degree surpasses the level of economic development. Therefore it’s necessary to build an integrated urban senior services system and support system. It is also essential to develop private senior services institutions and “silver” industry vigorously and to build long-term care and nursing system for the elderly.
