Collectivism and individualism are constantly looked as the typical representation of value difference between Chinese and west values. With market economic development and improvement of civil society in modern time，traditional values from Chinese collectivism has been severely influenced，Chinese failed to good morality and cohesion under the education of this kind of values，however，western society goes toward justice under the guidance of individualistic values. The paper will explore the origins concerning the fragility of Chinese collectivism from the perspective of Chinese and western cultural comparison，and tries to find a way for the development of Chinese collectivism by referring to western individualistic values.
