This article reviews the trend of national trade efficiency in Montenegro from 2005 to 2014, including the efficiency of domestic trade, international trade efficiency, as well as the various elements of the trend. The review provides the basis for the analysis of exploring the Montenegrin national future trade development driving and influencing factors, also provides the corresponding data support for further promotion of the "Chongqing - Montenegro" and "China - Montenegro" trade development. Firstly, Montenegro's national trade efficiency generally showed a trend of first rise and then fall, in which the international trade efficiency is the highest contribution rate. Secondly, Montenegro's domestic trade efficiency generally showed a trend of first rise and then drop, and the trade system efficiency is the highest contribution rate. Finally, Montenegro's international trade efficiency as a whole showed a downward trend, in addition to the TC index, both the import and export of goods and services efficiency and openness of the international trade have a significant role in promoting the efficiency of international trade. <<
