The history of the construction for ecological and civilized city based on comparative advantages, which is proposed by Guiyang first in China, is reviewed firstly. Secondly, it summarizes the remarkable achievements got by Guiyang in recent years in planning, legislation, economic structural adjustment, infrastructure construction, ecological-civilized city construction, ecological environment protection, social management innovation and livelihood improvement. In the end, it makes clear that Guiyang will take the Scientific Development Road, and speed up the development of ecological-civilized city construction. It also puts forward some requirements for Guiyang in the field of ecological economy, ecological city, ecological society, ecological culture, ecological nature and ecological politics. <<
