In past two decades, national and provincial governments have carried out many planning, construction and assessment activities related to the Green City Development. Such activities not only greatly promoted the green city development but also enhanced the public awareness of the "Green City". Among those activities, the promotion activities of national level, such as National Eco-city, National Garden City and National Forest City caused the greatest impact. With the arrival of the city era, "Green City" has become the new trend of China's city development.
