In 2015，the preservation of historic city has been carried on in the context of formulation of the 13th Five-Year Plan. Great achievements are made in the aspect of plan-making，advancement of key tasks and traditional cultural activities in tangible & intangible cultural heritage. Not only the ways of conservation are varied，but also the structure and levels of conservation of historic city are much more clear. In reflection，much more work should be done in preservation of historic urban area，and consciousness of heritance and ecological protection should be strengthened，in order to explore traditional cultural connotation of Beijing.
