This report summarizes the protection and development of Beijing in the process of constructing an international cultural diversity city in 2015 from the aspects of governmental organizations，grass-roots participation，sports activities，brand management and domestic and international cultural communication. There are still many problems，including lack of cultural creativity，participation of enterprises and institutes，audiences’ interaction，and shortage on ethnic and foreign languages’ translators and interpreters and Beijing’s characteristic cultural programs. This report proposes some measures and suggestions with experiences from some successful existing programs.
