Based on observable literature，existing studies of Chinese food safety incidents were reviewed. From broader and narrow perspective，food safety incidents were defined respectively. Data sources and acquisition method of food safety incidents in different studies were compared. Food species，main link of supply chain and the nature of food safety incidents were analyzed. Furthermore，from the technical standards，regulatory and Public opinion guidance，the method of governance in food safety risk which reflected by food safety incidents were discussed，as well as the improvements of media themselves. At last，influences of food safety incidents were reviewed from the perspectives of consumers，Enterprises，industry and international trade.
