In 2012, the size of 66 trust companies' inherent assets increased by 25.7%. Judging from the allocation of inherent assets, trust companies are more cautious, as the interbank deposits within financial institutions and other low-risk financial products are the major investment domains. In the composition of inherent business income, investment return is still the main income source, especially equity investment income, which accounted for more than 50% of the whole investment returns. 52 trust companies disclosed the distribution of inherent assets, and the investment domains concentrate on financial institutions such as banks, securities firms and mutual fund companies.
