A comparative study on values of senior high school students was jointly launched by institutions of China，the United States，Japan and South Korea. Research to examine values in an international perspective and brought out countermeasures and suggestions. The survey found that senior high school students from China had high level of self-acceptance，had confidence for the future，and had clear life goals and higher educational expectations. Their ideal life goal was family happiness. They had strong national pride，recognizing the relationship between national development and individual development. They believed that the important factor of success was hard work and good character；they were willing to support the elderly，be honesty and trustworthy，caring for others to make friends. Meanwhile they had a lack of confidence，vague understanding of society，be unsatisfied with the living environment and weak social responsibility.
