Green low carbon development is the inevitable choice for the construction of ecological civilization. Gongyi City，adhere to green low carbon development concept into the modernization of regional central cities to build the whole process，through increasing environmental remediation efforts，strengthening the environmental construction of key projects and accelerating afforestation and other initiatives，and strive to build a beautiful Gongyi，provide livable and comfortable living environment for the masses of the people. Gongyi green low carbon development is faced with some problems need to overcome，such as the lag of overall planning and design slightly，path dependence of industrial development，high carbon lifestyle of inertia，energy consumption structure is not reasonable，cooperation mechanisms to promote that needs to be perfected.
