Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is the third pole of China’s economic growth，but also the key area of environmental pollution prevention. This paper analyzes the main pollutant emission in the region since 2000，and discusses the characteristic of pollutant emission from different industrial sector. Overall，the environment in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has been improved. Smelting and pressing of ferrous metals，production and supply of electric power and heat power，manufacture of raw chemical materials and chemical products，manufacture of paper and paper products，processing of food from agricultural products contribute more to the pollution emissions than the other industries. Environmental management has a long way. Today and in the future，we should speed up industrial transformation and update for decreasing pollution emissions，strengthen pollution governance in rural areas，take variety of measures to control pollution from the source to the process，increase scientific research to support pollution prevention in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region，strengthen publicity，education and evaluation of social responsibility during major enterprises.
