This paper tested the relationship between cultural and creative industry and economic performance using co-integration analysis，VAR and granger causality test. The results show cultural and creative industries not only have a direct contribution on economic growth，but also promote economic performance through the integration with science and technology. Thus，the cultural and creative industries play an important role on steady growth，adjusting structure and promoting transformation in Beijing.
