Cumulative outcomes of bilateral high level visits in this year have been transformational for bilateral communication and strategic mutual trust. Building a closer developmental partnership and integrating the development strategies of the two countries have become the keywords of Sino-Indian relations since September 2014. The leaders of the two countries set Next Steps in Closer Developmental Partnership in May 2015 during Prime Minister’s visit to China. The cultural exchanges between the two countries have been increasing. Measures such as the launch of Visit India Year in China and the extension of the e-visa facility to Chinese nationals will expand people-to-people contacts and cultural exchanges between China and India.
