The financial crisis in the USA caused the economic，social and political crisis along with serious social inequality. Under these circumstances，“Occupy Wall Street” Social Movement expanded quickly. However，the unique civic culture and custom of America oriented the movement to more peaceful and rational ways which averted from violence. Meanwhile，new media had been changing the expression and organization of citizen participation. Symbolic power of the “Occupy” resulted in the movement’s spreading to world-wide scale. It is a new trend that the whole world shares the same resistant political languages including slogans，pictures，posters，audio and video together. This paper adopts the “Post Industrialization” theory and “Citizen Culture” theory to help analyzing the evolution of the “Occupy Wall Street” Social Movement and explaining its outcomes and impacts.
