本文选取了若干知名的美国高校智库作为研究对象,从智库的使命陈述和智库作为知识生产机构的特殊性,分析智库人才的内涵及其培养方式。结合智库的人才培养多样化课程(项目),揭示了高校智库人才培养项目鲜明的跨学科性、依托活动组织培养学生的智库实践能力、建立开放平等的学术交流平台等特点。研究发现,美国高校智库知识生产的“模型2”特征同样体现在智库人才培养的理念、组织和方法中;学生是美国高校智库研究力量的主要组成部分;全球视野、人文关怀和社会责任感是各高校智库共享的人才培养目标,也是智库人才的灵魂;高校智库充分利用了学校的社会网络和校内的多学科优势,给智库人才培养提供了广阔的舞台;而其注重的学生学科背景的多样性、课程的跨学科性和公民参与意识的养成,是智库融入大学人才培养体系(特别是通识教育体系)的一个写照。
<<This paper analyzed some well-known university-based think tanks in the US based on their undergraduate- and graduate-level programs. As a result,the author identified certain features of “Knowledge Production Model II” in these programs,such as the characteristics of inter-discipline,student involvement in think tanks’ scholarly events,students’ equal participation and self-reflection in academic exchanges,civil engagement and social responsibility required in variety of students’ activities and organizations. It is also found that think tank talents training on the US campuses is an integrated platform as part of general education endeavors.
