Automobile safety as one of the important evaluation indexes of the consumer, the automobile consumers have important influence on the purchase decision and the evaluation of the product. This paper provides an overview of the automotive consumer and automotive safety, pointed out that although the China consumers in the consumption capacity of cars than in the past has been greatly improved, but the automobile safety awareness and awareness of road safety and did not reach the international level; secondly, discusses the relationship between the automobile consumer attributes and automotive safety, division of according to the consumption characteristics of consumer groups, comprehensive city level, region, age and gender consumer attributes of consumer groups can be further subdivided, the different characteristics of consumer evaluation of safety and different needs; the relationship among the automotive consumer automobile consumption characteristics and vehicle safety, including consumers for automotive safety technology concern car brands and car safety and the understanding of the consumer car.
