The development of clean energy industry in Sichuan province has become an important part in western and national energy system. This paper analyzes the development status and characteristics of clean energy industry，such as hydropower，natural gas，wind energy，solar energy and so on in Sichuan province. Through the analysis of the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth in the province，two regression models（energy consumption and economic growth，electricity consumption and economic growth）in Sichuan province are established. It is forecast that the energy and electricity production in Sichuan in 2016，will continue to maintain the growth rate of 3% to 5%，the energy consumption will be increased by 3.99% to 4.56%，the total energy demand is expected to reach 200 million tons of standard coal；the province’s electricity consumption will be increased by 6.23% to 7.12%，the total electricity demand is expected to reach 250 TWh.
