The Eight-point Regulation of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee，as an important measure taken by the CPC in the construction of Party conduct and building of an honest and clean government，demonstrates the work style of the new CPC central leadership of being realistic and pragmatic and maintaining close ties with the masses，clearly establishes the code of conduct for all Party members and cadres and，therefore，is of great significance. In the implementation of the Eight-point Regulation，the CPC has achieved remarkable results and accumulated some useful experiences. However，some problems still exist in the implementation of the Eight-point Regulation and some malpractices continue to exist despite repeated prohibition. In order to prevent the resurface of the problem of the “four undesirable work styles”，the CPC must strengthen the education of Party members，the enforceability of the relevant institutions，and the supervision over their implementation.
